	Thomas Ingmire has taught workshops since the late 1970’s. The scope of the teaching has been quite broad including workshops in both traditional calligraphy and craft techniques as well as courses concerned with modern calligraphy and word/ image concepts and philosophies.	The teaching structure has ranged from one to five day workshops to longer extended studies formats of 3 months, 6 months, and one year. The workshops have been undertaken in most major cities of Canada, the United States, Europe, as well as Australia, New Zealand , Hong Kong, and Japan.
